THE OCTOBER ADJOURN TERM
The County Commission met in the Commission Conference Room at 10:52 a.m. with Ron
Houseman and Danny Strahan present; and Jim Strafuss absent. The following proceedings were
had and made a matter of record:
2013 BUDGET DISCUSSIONS
COMMISSION CONFERENCE ROOM
The Commission met to discuss the 2013 Budget. Discussion ensued regarding how specific the
budget document needs to be concerning salaries for individual employees. Revenues were also
discussed along with Capital Improvements.
The Commission discussed the setting of a Final Budget Hearing date and the scheduling of
upcoming budget meetings. They decided to read over the hard copy of the budget, they had
been presented, before they discuss it further. Commissioner Strahan suggested including
Western Commissioner-Elect Brandon Williams in these budget meetings.
Commissioner Strahan moved to adjourn. Commissioner Houseman seconded the motion. The
motion passed by vote: Houseman (aye), Strahan (aye), and Strafuss (absent).
