Thursday December 6, 2012: The Taney County Commission met in reference to the above listed RFB. After
opening responses from the above listed companies a motion was made to allow a time for a thorough review of all
information packages as received from each by Randy Haes of the Taney County Road & Bridge Department. The
Commission requested that after said review a recommendation be made on Monday December 10, 2012.
Subsequent to a thorough review of all the detailed pricing offered, a recommendation was made to award this RFB as
follows;
The two lowest bidders on each item and then the next two low bidders as “Back-Up”. If a vendor cannot produce or
deliver the product within the time they indicated on their Bid Response we will choose the next vendor. Cargill for
rock salt with Bingham as “Back-Up”. Scotwood Industries for calcium chloride with Sicalco as “Back-Up”.
Delivery, or failure to deliver as indicated within all Bid Responses, is governed by items #6 thru #9 within standard
terms and conditions included in the Bid on page #6.
The Taney County Commission made a motion to award as such and it passed unanimously.
