On August 30, 2012 at 9:00 AM all four of the sealed packages received, regarding the above listed RFQ,
were opened per the instructions as detailed within the RFQ. Shortly thereafter the Taney County Airport
Board reviewed all four responses deciding to eliminate two responders and invite the other two to make
presentations.
On September 19, 2012 Garver and Lochner each presented for 45 minutes and answered questions for
15 minutes. (One at 1:00 PM, the other at 2:30 PM) Using an overall average Garver, LLC achieved the
higher score.
The evaluation process used was based on a similar process being used by the Missouri Department of
Transportation. (MODOT) The two companies designated for presentations were rated on a previously
weighted scale by three members of a selection committee. The resulting scores were extremely close.

The Taney County Airport Board will recommend Garver for award to the Taney County Commission at a
point in time when the next MODOT grant becomes available.
Requests for copies of Proposal Responses, or other details regarding any of the above processes, must
be made through the Taney County Clerkâs Office by use of a PSR (Public Service Request), after award.
