OFFICIAL MINUTES
AUGUST 7, 2012, 10TH DAY OF
THE JULY ADJOURN TERM

The County Commission met in the County Clerk’s Office at 2:50 p.m. with Ron Houseman
present and Jim Strafuss via teleconference and Danny Strahan absent. The following
proceedings were had and made a matter of record:

EMERGENCY SESSION

Emergency session was called as the County Clerk found a real estate error in the amount of
$3,520,000 commercial valuation that would negatively impact several political subdivisions in
the setting of their levies. Due to the deadlines for publicizing valuation in newspaper and public
hearings for levy setting, the Commission deemed it an emergency meeting.

Commissioner Strafuss moved to approve abatement ending in #0276 to remove commercial
property valuation leaving assessed residential at $710. Commissioner Houseman seconded the
motion. The motion passed by vote: Houseman (aye), Strahan (absent) and Strafuss (aye).
