Response to the above listed RFP resulted in only one Bid being received. I requested instruction from the Taney
County Commission as to proceed or re-let. They instructed me to proceed and open the single response after which
those results were forwarded to the Taney County Airport Board for them to review.
June 22, 2012: I received word from the Airport Manager that he had been notified that the person who submitted the
one response – as mentioned above – has requested to be allowed to withdraw. The Taney County Airport Board
allowed said withdrawal and asked that this RFP be canceled while they explore other options.
June 28, 2012: I formally requested the Taney County Commission to cancel this RFP based on the above
information. A motion to do so was made and they unanimously voted to cancel.
