OFFICIAL MINUTES
JUNE 14, 2012, 22ND DAY OF
THE APRIL ADJOURN TERM
The County Commission met in the Commission Hearing Room at 9:05 a.m. with Ron
Houseman and Danny Strahan present and Jim Strafuss via teleconference. The following
proceedings were had and made a matter of record:
BID PROCEDURE FOR DATA COMPILATION SERVICES
AND TIRE DISPOSAL SERVICES
Mr. Ron Erickson and Randy Haes went before the Commission to discuss the Tire Disposal
Services bid. There were no responses received. Mr. Haes said he would like to do further
research to determine the best option. On average there were two tractor trailer loads of tires per
year. Discussion ensued. Mr. Erickson would return with a solution.
Bid 201205-183, Data Compilation Services was requested by Assessor James Strahan. One
response was received. The Commission directed Mr. Erickson to open the bid. The one
submission was from Intrinsic Corp with a complete bid. The bid was priced at $1.80 per
structure. James Strahan stated there were 50,468 digital sketches to complete the appraisal
package to the Assessor’s Office and recommended the bid be awarded to Intrinsic Corp.
Commissioner Strahan moved to award the bid to Intrinsic Corp as recommended.
Commissioner Strafuss seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Houseman (aye),
Strahan (aye) and Strafuss (aye).
AGENDA REQUESTS REVIEW
Nikki Lawrence went before the Commission to review agenda requests.
CHILD SUPPORT AGREEMENT
Commissioner Strafuss entered the meeting at 9:28 a.m.
Child Support Director Lara Webb-Fors and Prosecuting Attorney Jeff Merrell went before the
Commission with the existing cooperative agreement with Christian and Greene Counties
regarding Child Support Cases. In order to change to the same fiscal year as the County, a six
month extension agreement required Commission approval. Commissioner Strahan moved to
approve the extension of the child support agreement for six months as presented.
Commissioner Strafuss seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Houseman (aye),
Strahan (aye) and Strafuss (aye).
DITCH CLEANING DISCUSSION
Randy Haes and Devon Huff went before the Commission to discuss ditch cleaning. A work
order in the Mt. Branson area, on Taney Street had left over tree limbs after initial Tornado
debris clean up. Trailer house materials were mixed in with the debris. Mr. Haes said there were
other ditches that needed cleaned to prevent undue erosion. Mr. Haes stated Chip Seal at
Meadow Reed should be completed next week, due to conditions of the existing surface.
Discussion would be posted for Monday.
OPENING OF K-DOCK PARK
Commissioner Strahan said bathroom facilities were not yet complete; picnic tables were being
worked on. Portable facilities could be obtained so the area could be used. The Commission
agreed to move forward.
APPROVAL OF EXECUTIVE MINUTES
Commissioner Strafuss moved to postpone approval of Executive meeting minutes until after
executive session. Commissioner Strahan seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote:

Commissioner Strafuss moved to go into Executive Session pursuant to RSMo 610.021(1), (2),
(3) and (12). Commissioner Strahan seconded the motion. The motion passed by roll call vote:
Houseman (aye), Strahan (aye), and Strafuss (aye).

Commissioner Strafuss moved to approve executive minutes as follows: May 7, 14, 21, 31, and
June 4, 2012. Commissioner Strahan seconded the motion. The motion passed by roll call vote:
Houseman (aye), Strahan (aye), and Strafuss (aye).
