OFFICIAL
MARCH 9, 2012, 21st DAY OF
THE JANUARY ADJOURN TERM

The County Commission met in the County Clerk’s Office at 3:35 p.m. with Ron Houseman
present and Danny Strahan and Jim Strafuss via teleconference. The following proceedings were
had and made a matter of record:

EMERGENCY SITUATION – BRANSON DEBRIS REMOVAL BID SPECIFICATIONS

Commissioner Strafuss moved to go into Emergency Session. Commissioner Strahan seconded
the motion. The motion passed by vote: Houseman (aye), Strahan (aye) and Strafuss (aye).

The City of Branson debris removal and potential utilization of the transfer station was discussed
as there was a need to have all bids comparable. It was resolved a landfill needed to be utilized
in the bid. Commissioner Strafuss stated the transfer station was not accepting commercial
debris, based on a comment made by Mr. Stottle of Road and Bridge that the volume could not
be handled. Commissioner Strahan agreed the Transfer Station couldn’t handle any more debris
than they were currently taking.

Commissioner Houseman said there was a need for the Commission to provide all parties with
consistent information so they could bid apples to apples. Discussion ensued. Commissioner
Houseman mentioned the extension agreed upon yesterday, allowing dumping through the end of
the month with regular hours and that policy would be maintained. The Commission directed
Melissa Duckworth to notify all involved.

Commissioner Strafuss moved to adjourn. Commissioner Strahan seconded the motion. The
motion passed by vote: Houseman (aye), Strahan (aye) and Strafuss (aye).
