OFFICIAL MINUTES
DECEMBER 6, 2011, 24TH DAY OF
THE OCTOBER ADJOURNED TERM
The County Commission met in the Commissioner’s Conference Room at 11:23 a.m. with Ron
Houseman, Danny Strahan and Jim Strafuss present. The following proceedings were had and
made a matter of record:
2012 BUDGET WORK SESSION
Auditor Rick Findley met with Commissioner Houseman and Commissioner Strahan to discuss
the 2012 Budget. The Road and Bridge combined budget was discussed.
At 11:28 a.m. Prosecuting Attorney Jeff Merrell went before the Commission to ask if he could
transfer his discressionary funds to GCR as some of his payment requests had not been approved.
Discussion ensued. A written agreement regarding funds to be transferred in the future was
discussed. Mr. Merrell would get an amount to the Commission of his intended fund transfer
amount.

Discussion continued regarding the 2012 Road and Bridge combined budget. 2010 and 2011
figures were compared to the 2012 Budget request.

Commissioner Strafuss joined the meeting to continue the 2012 Budget discussion; specifically
Road and Bridge.

Road and Bridge budget discussion continued. As there was a difference in the revenues and
expenses, the Commission requested Rick Findley run reports for the current 2011 revenues.

Commissioner Strahan seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Houseman (aye),
Strahan (aye) and Strafuss (aye).
2012 BUDGET WORK SESSION
Discussion continued to come to a proposed balanced budget for Road and Bridge. The Transfer
Station requested budget was discussed. Revenues and expenses were reviewed.
EXECUTIVE SESSION – PERSONNEL PER SECTION 610.021(3)
Commissioner Strafuss moved to go into Executive Session pursuant to RSMo 610.021 (3).
Commissioner Strahan seconded the motion. The motion passed by roll call vote: Houseman
(aye), Strahan (aye) and Strafuss (aye).
