THE JULY ADJOURNED TERM

The County Commission met in the Commissioner’s Hearing Room at 8:33 am with Ron
Houseman, Danny Strahan and Jim Strafuss present. The following proceedings were had and
made a matter of record:

CONTRACTS – MARK TWAIN SCHOOL INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT
AND CENTURY LINK AGREEMENTS

Commissioner Strafuss moved to approve Mark Twain School Intergovernmental Agreement.
Commissioner Strahan seconded for discussion. The motion passed by vote: Houseman (aye),
Strahan (aye) and Strafuss (aye).

Commissioner Strafuss moved to approve the Century Link Maintenance Agreement and the 911
Century Link Maintenance Agreement. Commissioner Strahan seconded the motion. The
motion passed by vote: Houseman (aye), Strahan (aye) and Strafuss (aye).

MEETING DATES DISCUSSION

Commissioner Houseman requested that meeting dates be added to the Agenda to more clearly
define agenda dates. Discussion ensued. It was decided Mondays and Thursday mornings be set
aside for business meetings with Agenda Requests reviewed twice a week.

AGENDA REQUESTS REVIEW

The Commission reviewed agenda requests with Nikki Lawrence.

Commissioner Houseman gave department budgets to Commissioner Strahan and Commissioner
Strafuss for their review. They discussed that the Commission was responsible for setting the
budget for those departments.

EXECUTIVE SESSION PER SECTION 610.021 (1), (2), (3) & (12)

Commissioner Strafuss moved to go into Executive Session pursuant to RSMo 610.021 (1), (2),
(3) & (12). Commissioner Strahan seconded the motion. The motion passed by roll call vote:
Houseman (aye), Strafuss (aye) and Strahan (aye).

Commissioner Strafuss moved to go out of Executive Session. Commissioner Strahan seconded
the motion. The motion passed by roll call vote: Houseman (aye), Strafuss (aye) and Strahan

Commissioner Strafuss moved to postpone the Executive Session to a definite time of 11:15 am.
Commissioner Strahan seconded the motion. The motion passed by roll call vote: Houseman
(aye), Strafuss (aye) and Strahan (aye).

TANEY COUNTY SENIOR CITIZENS SERVICES LEVY PUBLIC HEARING

Mr. Don Ingrum gave the Commissioners a Senior Citizens Board budget hand out which
Auditor Rick Findley helped with. The Board requested the Commission approve the proposed
levy and budget. Commissioner Strahan asked if the five cents per hundred dollars assessed
valuation was the maximum. Mr. Ingrum said yes.

Commissioner Strafuss moved to accept the Senior Services Board budget as presented and
establish their 2011 levy at five cents per hundred dollars of assessed valuation as requested.
Commissioner Strahan seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Houseman (aye),
Strahan (aye) and Strafuss (aye).
