OFFICIAL MINUTES
AUGUST 18, 2011, 12th DAY OF
THE JULY ADJOURNED TERM
The County Commission met in the Commissioner’s Hearing Room at 8:00 am with Ron
Houseman present via teleconference, and Danny Strahan and Jim Strafuss present. The
following proceedings were had and made a matter of record:
ADDENDUM TO TANEY COUNTY DEPOSITORY PROPOSAL SPECIFICATIONS
Treasurer Helen Soutee went before the Commission with the Addendum to Taney County
Depository for the Great Southern Bank regarding the establishment of new accounts with Great
Southern. Commissioner Strahan moved to accept the addendum. Commissioner Strafuss
seconded the motion. The motion passed by roll call vote: Houseman (aye), Strafuss (aye) and
Strahan (aye).
Ms. Soutee wanted to put into the policy that even if a new account was not opened with another
bank, that new accounts still go through the treasurer and the auditor. The Commission agreed to
repost the discussion.
AGENDA REQUEST REVIEW
The Commission reviewed the agenda requests with Nikki Lawrence.
Commissioner Strafuss moved to adjourn. Commissioner Strahan seconded the motion. The
motion passed by vote: Houseman (aye), Strahan (aye) and Strafuss (aye).
