RFP# 201109-152 (Fencing) Results;
This morning, October 20, 2011 the Taney County Commission voted unanimously to award RFP#
201109-152 (Fencing – Mt. Branson Facility) to: Anchor Fence 5755 S. Campbell Springfield, Missouri
65810. Anchor Fence met all requirements within the RFP and submitted a TOTAL COST TO THE
COUNTY BID of: $10,658.00
NOTE: Anchor Fence was one of only two companies responding but Anchor was the only company who
qualified due to they alone completed the mandatory on site inspection of the area to be fenced. The
other response will remain un-opened as “Non-Responsive” for failing to follow the mandatory
requirement of doing an on site inspection.
The Commission discussed options concerning the lack of Bid Responses and decided that due to the
time of the year and the need for this fencing to be up before winter, they instructed that we proceed with
this Bid Opening and the one qualified response was opened, read, and awarded after a brief discussion.
