OFFICIAL MINUTES
September 10, 2010, 27th DAY OF
THE JULY ADJOURN TERM
The County Commission met in The Commissioner’s Hearing Room at 8:00 AM with
Chuck Pennel, Danny Strahan and Jim Strafuss present. The following proceedings were
had and made a matter of record:
ADMINISTRATIVE & DEPARTMENTAL FUNCTIONS
AGENDA REVIEW
The Commission reviewed the agenda.
TAX LEVY FOR TANEY COUNTY SENIOR CITIZENS SERVICES BOARD
Presiding Commissioner Pennel opened the Public Hearing for the Senior Citizens
Services Board Levy.

Presiding Commissioner Pennel closed the Public Hearing for the Senior Citizens
Services Board Levy.

Presiding Commissioner Pennel re-opened the Public Hearing for the Senior Citizens
Board Levy.

Presiding Commissioner Pennel reviewed the Resolution Fixing the 2010 Tax Levy Rates
for Taney County, Missouri Pursuant to Section 137.055 RSMo.
Presiding Commissioner Pennel closed the Public Hearing for the Senior Citizens
Services Board Levy.

Commissioner Strafuss moved to approve the Resolution fixing the 2010 Tax Levy rates,
as follows:
Commissioner Strahan seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Pennel (aye),
Strahan (aye), and Strafuss (aye).
Commissioner Pennel announced local times and locations for meetings being held in
honor and remembrance of September 11th, 2001.
DAVIS BACON ACT CLAUSES APPROVAL
Commissioner Strahan moved to sign the papers for the Davis Bacon Act Clauses.
Commissioner Strafuss seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Pennel (aye),
Strahan (aye) and Strafuss (aye).
EXECUTIVE SESSION – PERSONNEL & CONTRACTS PER SECTION 610.021

Commissioner Strafuss moved to go into Executive Session pursuant to RSMo. 610.021
(3) & (12). Commissioner Strahan seconded the motion. The motion passed by roll call
vote: Pennel (aye), Strahan (aye) and Strafuss (aye).
