POSITION: Wastewater Utility Maintenance Worker

REPORTS TO: Regional Sewer Utility Manager

SUMMARY: Provide maintenance on sewage lift stations. Duties may include general maintenance as
directed by the field supervisor.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Required to work weekend shifts.
2. Provide daily maintenance tasks, including wastewater pump/lift station inspection.
3. Upkeep of grounds around the pump/lift stations.
4. Assisting utility crew members in performing other tasks, as directed by the field supervisor.
5. Maintain a professional demeanor, as well as completing tasks in an efficient and timely
manner.

CRITERIA/SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
1. Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This in normally acquired through a high
school diploma or equivalent.
2. Experience in the wastewater field is preferred by not required
3. Valid Missouri driver’s license.

SALARY:

$10.00 per hour
