OFFICIAL MINUTES
August 27, 2010, 22nd DAY OF
THE JULY ADJOURN TERM
The County Commission met in The Commissioner’s Hearing Room at 8:30 AM with
Chuck Pennel and Jim Strafuss present, and Danny Strahan absent. The following
proceedings were had and made a matter of record:
LANDSCAPING BID CONTRACT
Commissioner Strafuss moved to approve the agreement for landscaping services
between Taney County and Covenant excavating. Commissioner Pennel seconded the
motion. The motion passed by vote: Pennel (aye), Strafuss (aye) and Strahan (absent).
SHORTY COOPER
Commissioner Strafuss moved to authorize County employees to close Shorty Cooper for
two days related to the landscaping bid. Commissioner Pennel seconded the motion. The
motion passed by vote: Pennel (aye), Strafuss (aye) and Strahan (absent).
Presiding Commissioner Pennel declared a recess.
