OFFICIAL MINUTES
July 22, 2010, 9th DAY OF
THE JULY ADJOURN TERM

The County Commission met in The Commissioner’s Hearing Room at 8:00 AM with Chuck
Pennel and Jim Strafuss present, and Danny Strahan absent. The following proceedings were had
and made a matter of record:

TIGER II GRANT PLANNING

Travis Heier and Tom Ryan with HDR Archer discussed the Tiger II Grant plans with the
Commission. They requested direction on where the Commission would like to take the Grant.

The Commission directed them to not seek matching money, and to include Highway 160/F
Highway in the application.

ADMINISTRATIVE & DEPARTMENTAL FUNCTIONS

T HIGHWAY PROJECT

Spencer Jones of Great River Engineering and Frank Miller of MoDOT spoke to the
Commission about the grant pre-application and planning of the T Highway Project. Spencer
estimated the cost of the project at $400,000.00 total, with a 50/50 cost share reducing the
County’s portion to approximately $200,000.00, and with a $30 - $40,000.00 total estimated cost
of design.

Presiding Commissioner Pennel declared a recess.
