OFFICIAL MINUTES
June 25, 2010, 43rd DAY OF
THE APRIL ADJOURN TERM
The County Commission met in The Commissioner’s Hearing Room at 9:15 AM with
Chuck Pennel and Danny Strahan present, and Jim Strafuss absent. The following
proceedings were had and made a matter of record:
CLEAN AIR LETTER
Eddie Coxie, Planning & Zoning, presented a drafted letter to the Commission regarding
the possible change of standards for clean air sampling. The letter requests that the EPA
maintain current acceptable testing levels.
Commissioner Strahan moved to send the letter after review by Attorney Paulson.
Motion died for lack of a second.
The Commission requested that there be discussions related to the letter with State and
Federal Representatives. Commissioner Pennel suggested that he contact some of these
individuals to coordinate a meeting between them, the Commission, and Mr. Coxie.
ADMINISTRATIVE & DEPARTMENTAL FUNCTIONS
EXECUTIVE SESSION -
LITIGATION & REAL ESTATE PER SECTION 610.021(1)(2)
Commissioner Pennel moved to go into Executive Session pursuant to RSMo.
610.021(1)(2). Commissioner Strahan seconded the motion. The motion passed by roll
call vote: Pennel (aye), Strahan (aye), and Strafuss (absent).

Commissioner Strafuss moved to go out of Executive Session. Commissioner Strahan
seconded the motion. The motion passed by roll call vote: Pennel (aye), Strahan (aye),
and Strafuss (aye).
OUT OF EXECUTIVE SESSION

TCTAB BOARD APPOINTMENTS
Commissioner Strahan moved to appoint Charles MacArthur as Representative for
Kirbyville and Brian Caperton as Representative for District 4. Motion died for lack of a
second. The Commission agreed to repost the Board Appointments for the following
Monday.
Presiding Commissioner Pennel declared a recess.
