OFFICIAL MINUTES
May 06, 2010, 18TH DAY OF
THE APRIL ADJOURN TERM

The County Commission met in The Commissioner’s Hearing Room at 9:00AM with
Chuck Pennel, Jim Strafuss and Danny Strahan present. The following proceedings were
had and made a matter of record:

ADMINISTRATIVE & DEPARTMENTAL FUNCTIONS

JOSEPH ALLEN – TAX FEES AND INTEREST

Commissioner Pennel moved to waive the imposition of penalties and interest for 2008
and 2009 in accordance with RSMo.52.240.1 in the amounts of $116.44 for 2008 and
$51.95 for 2009 on parcel number 04-9.0-32-004-016-005.000.

RECONVENED
9:38 AM

Commissioner Strafuss seconded the motion to waive penalties and interest for Joseph
Allen. The motion passed by vote: Pennel (aye), Strahan (nay) and Strafuss (aye).

The Commission advised the Collector to use her discretion on how to collect the taxes.

HPRP INVOICE

Commissioner Strahan moved to approve the corrected invoice form and send it to
Jefferson City. Commissioner Strafuss seconded the motion. The motion passed by
vote: Pennel (aye), Strahan (aye) and Strafuss (aye).

ADMINISTRATIVE & DEPARTMENTAL FUNCTIONS

Commissioner Pennel began a discussion on Public Comment and the use of Robert’s
Rules of Order during Commission Meetings. The Commissioner’s discussed ideas on
the proper format of meetings amongst themselves and with County Clerk Donna Neeley
and Assessor James Strahan.

Presiding Commissioner Pennel declared a recess.
