OFFICIAL MINUTES
April 13, 2010, 5th DAY OF
THE APRIL ADJOURN TERM
The County Commission met in The Commissioner’s Hearing Room at 1:15 PM with
Chuck Pennel and Jim Strafuss present, and Danny Strahan present via teleconference.
The following proceedings were had and made a matter of record:
DIESEL EMISSION REDUCTION GRANT
Frank Preston requested approval of his pursuit for the Diesel Emission Grant for
$12,369.00
Commissioner Strafuss moved to approve the application for the Southwest Missouri
Clean Diesel Public Fleet Fund Grant. Commissioner Strahan seconded the motion. The
motion passed by vote: Pennel (aye), Strahan (aye), and Strafuss (aye).
TIRE CLEAN-UP
Frank Preston and Rick Pickering discussed the proposed tire clean-up with the
Commission.
Commissioner Strafuss moved to waive the fees, on a one-time basis, for tire clean-up in
the Venice on the Lake area with the use of a County trailer, and with the work being
performed by the local labor force. Commissioner Strahan seconded the motion. The
motion passed by vote: Pennel (aye), Strahan (aye), and Strafuss (aye).
Presiding Commissioner Pennel declared a recess.
