OFFICIAL MINUTES
March 11, 2010, 31st DAY OF
THE JANUARY ADJOURN TERM
The County Commission met in the The Commissioner’s Hearing Room at 8:30 AM with
Danny Strahan, Chuck Pennel and Jim Strafuss present. The following proceedings were
had and made a matter of record:
TANEY COUNTY ENERGY RETROFIT GRANT
Ron Houseman, IDA, spoke with the Commission regarding an upcoming press release
about the Energy Retrofit Grant. Commissioner Strahan moved to table the discussion
until 1:30 pm. Commissioner Pennel seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote:
Pennel (aye), Strafuss (aye) and Strahan (aye).

JIM STRAFUSS – WASHINGTON, DC MEETING
Commissioner Strafuss informed the Commission that he was invited back to
Washington, DC for a meeting at the White House where Rule Affairs of Taney County
would be discussed. The expense of the trip would be covered and he requested and
received agreement on his attendance.
COON CREEK PUMP STATION
The Commission agreed there was a need to designate a day for the information on the
costs and pricing of the project to be presented, so that a decision could be reached.
GARY MORGAN, IS
Gary Morgan, IS, spoke regarding the email and computer use issues associated with the
IDA personnel changes. The Commission gave their approval for Gary to forward any
emails sent to Joan Chowning to Ron Houseman as a carbon copy.
BOB PAULSON – IDA INSURANCE
Bob Paulson discussed the IDA Board and their addition to the County Liability
Insurance policy.
FLAG REQUEST
Commissioner Pennel spoke regarding a request for flags in one of the new court rooms.
The Commission agreed to the request.
Presiding Commissioner Pennel declared a recess.

TANEY COUNTY ENERGY RETROFIT GRANT
Ron Houseman gave additional information on the Energy Grant to the Commission.
Commissioner Strahan made a motion to approve and sign the Financial Assistance
Agreement, the Certificate of Debarment or Suspension, and the Original of the Anti-
Lobbying Act Form. Commissioner Strahan seconded the motion. The motion passed by
vote: Pennel (aye), Strafuss (aye) and Strahan (aye).
Presiding Commissioner Pennel declared a recess.
