OFFICIAL MINUTES
JANUARY 26, 2010, 12th DAY OF
THE JANUARY ADJOURN TERM

The County Commission met in The Commissioner’s Hearing Room at 8:00AM with,
Chuck Pennel, Jim Strafuss, and Danny Strahan present. The following proceedings were
had and made a matter of record:

NACO CONFERENCE – WASHINGTON DC

Commissioner Strahan moved that the county allow Jim Strafuss to go to the NACO
Conference. Commissioner Strafuss seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote:
Strafuss (aye), Pennel (nay) and Strahan (aye).

STORAGE

The Commission discussed options in creating more storage in the old jail and evaluating
what is still being stored in the Underground. Commissioner Pennel is going to visit with
the elected officials concerning their storage issues.

TREASURER’S SEMI-ANNUAL REPORT

Helen Soutee presented the semi-annual treasurer’s report to the Commission.
Helen also presented a records disposal list as follows:
CENTURYLINK PHONE BILL

Commissioner Strafuss will meet with Gary Morgan and then have a working session
with Centurylink and the Commission on the billing issues and short pay the bill till it is
discussed and resolved.

Presiding Commissioner Pennel declared a recess.

ROAD & BRIDGE

Commissioner Pennel moved to direct Frank Preston to put in an angled culvert in the
area below 248. The motion died for lack of a second.
