OFFICIAL MINUTES
January 14, 2010, 7th DAY OF
THE JANUARY ADJOURN TERM
The County Commission met in The Commissioner’s Hearing Room at 8:45 AM with,
Chuck Pennel, Jim Strafuss, and Danny Strahan present. The following proceedings were
had and made a matter of record:
WELLNESS CENTER - UPDATE
The Wellness Advisory Committee gave an update on the wellness center to open on
1/22/10. The committee is requesting $1,500 for magnetic lock and software that would
secure the facility. The Commission directed the Wellness Advisory Committee to move
forward with the request and will approve expenses when received in accounts payable.
The committee is proposing a $2 - $5 fee per employee or family for maintenance and
cable for the wellness center.
Presiding Commissioner Pennel declared a recess.

SUPPORT LETTER – BRANSON REGIONAL AIRPORT
Commissioner Pennel moved to not support the support letter. The motion died for lack
of a second.
UPDATE REPORT FROM TANEY COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT –
ANIMAL CONTROL
Jim Barry updated the Commission on the Animal Control function.
SUPPORT LETTER – BRANSON REGIONAL AIRPORT
Commissioner Strafuss moved to approve the support letter for the Branson Regional
Airport with the discussed changes. Commissioner Strahan seconded the motion. The
motion passed by vote: Pennel (aye), Strahan (aye), and Strafuss (aye).
CHIP STORAGE – INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENTS
Commissioner Strahan is asking for copies of intergovernmental agreements with
Bradleyville and Mark Twain Schools to store chips in their parking area.
HEALTH RISK ASSESSEMENT – FEE
This is being brought up on an emergency basis because they need direction on the $25
fee today in order to coordinate Mercy Health Systems to be here.
The Commission unanimous consensus is that they are good with it and will approve the
invoice when it comes through accounts payable.
