OFFICIAL MINUTES

November 4, 2009, 17th DAY OF
THE OCTOBER ADJOURN TERM

The County Commission met in The Commissioner’s Conference Room at 10:00 AM
with, Chuck Pennel, Danny Strahan and Jim Strafuss present. The following proceedings
were had and made a matter of record:

Commissioner Strafuss moved to go into executive Session pursuant to RSMo.
610.021.3. Commissioner Strahan seconded the motion. The motion passed by roll call
vote: Pennel (aye), Strahan (aye), and Strafuss (aye).

Commissioner Strafuss moved to go out of executive Session. Commissioner Pennel
seconded the motion. The motion passed by roll call vote: Pennel (aye), Strahan (aye),

STAFF DEPARTMENTAL MEETING – 911 ADMINISTRATION

Tammy Hagler presented an idea for a phone tree to answer 332-1900 calls.

STAFF DEPARTMENTAL MEETING – ROAD & BRIDGE – DIRT DUMPING
AGREEMENTS

Randy Haes presented 4 dirt fill agreements for approval.

Commissioner Pennel moved to approve all 4 dirt fill agreements with Bill Byrd, City of
Forsyth, Marilyn Goeman and Oakmont Community Improvement Association.
Commissioner Strafuss seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Pennel (aye),
Strahan (aye), and Strafuss (aye).

LIGHTNING SPRINGS ROAD

A land owner wanting fencing on property he bought contacted Road and Bridge
concerning perceived hazardous spots on Lightning Springs Road. Road & Bridge only
provides fencing if easements are needed for road improvement. Road and Bridge does
not see the need for road widening to prevent a road hazard since they were able to take
out trees that were already on the right of way and expand the road enough to eliminate
the hazard.

CASEY ROAD COMPLETION ISSUE

Randy Haes presented an issue on replacing a rock pillar for Ron Wyatt’s property. The
property owner wants to change and have 2 smaller pillars built instead. Estimated cost to
build the pillar is $500. The Commission agreed that the county should pay him $500 and
he can have the pillar(s) built the way he wants.

COON CREEK ROAD – CLOSED 11/5/09

Coon Creek Road will be closed beginning 11/5/09 to through traffic but will still be
open for local residents and school bus routes.

LETTER OF SUPPORT - GREENS AT BRANSON HILLS – SENIOR CITIZENS
HOUSING

Commissioner Strafuss moved to send a letter of support to Pete Ramsel for the senior
housing at the Greens. Commissioner Pennel seconded the motion. The motion passed by
roll call vote: Pennel (aye), Strahan (aye), and Strafuss (aye).
