OFFICIAL MINUTES
August 27, 2009 23rd DAY OF
THE JULY ADJOURN TERM
The County Commission met in The Commissioner’s Hearing Room at 8:00 AM with,
Chuck Pennel, Danny Strahan and Jim Strafuss present. Donna Neeley, Angie Edwards,
Ron Houseman, Joan Chowning and Jim Yust were also present. The following
proceedings were had and made a matter of record:
LETTER OF INTENT – RECOVERY BOND
Commissioner Strafuss moved that the County issue a letter of intent for a recovery zone
bond for the full amount intended for either private or public placement. Commissioner
Pennel seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Pennel (aye), Strahan (aye), and
Strafuss (aye).
MISSION ROAD LAKE ACCESS - CORPS OF ENGINEERS
Lake access improvement for Mission Road plan to send to the Corps of Engineers was
discussed and posted for action on Friday at 8:45 AM.
Commissioner Strafuss left the meeting at 8:46 AM.

SUPERINTENDENT MEETING
The School Superintendents and the County Commission did a teleconference with the
State Tax Commission concerning possible 2010 reassessment and its effects on School
financing. Tim Crawley, Tim Taylor, Brent Blevins, Doug Hayter, Bruce Forrest, Donna
Neeley, Lisa Westfall, Joan Chowning, Ron Houseman and James Strahan were present.
Presiding Commissioner Pennel declared a recess.
