OFFICIAL MINUTES

June 17, 2009 36th DAY OF
THE APRIL ADJOURN TERM

The County Commission met in the Commissioner’s Conference Room at 8:00 AM with
Chuck Pennel, Danny Strahan, and Jim Strafuss present. Also present was John Soutee,
Jim Yust, and Bob Paulson. The following proceedings were had and made a matter of
record:

SEWER DISTRICT – JOHN SOUTEE

John Soutee reported on the most recent Sewer Board meeting items and potential
projects at Venice on the Lake (Feasibility Study Only), Lookout Acres, Powersite North,
T Hwy Extension, Kirbyville Extension, and Fall Creek Road/River Bluff Feasibility
Study.

WRVHS – NAP LETTER OF SUPPORT

Commissioner Strafuss moved that we accept the NAP letter of support for White River
Valley Historical Society. Commissioner Pennel seconded the motion. The motion passed
by vote, Strahan (aye) and Strafuss (aye) and Pennel (aye).

RECORDS DISPOSAL

Commissioner Strafuss moved that the Taney County Clerk dispose of the records as
presented in the following document from the Clerk:

109.230 subsection 4. As the officeholder with jurisdiction over these records I, Donna Neeley, elect to

Authorizing Signature Date

Commissioner Pennel seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote, Strahan (aye)
and Strafuss (aye) and Pennel (aye).

PURCHASING

Commissioner Strafuss moved that The Commission approve the Lake Area Carpet Care
bid for cleaning the tile areas of the first floor in the amount of $1084. Commissioner
Pennel seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote, Strahan (aye) and Strafuss (aye)
and Pennel (aye).

Commissioner Strafuss moved to approve Branson Upholstery’s bid to recover the
benches in the judicial center. Commissioner Strahan seconded the motion. The motion
passed by vote, Strahan (aye) and Strafuss (aye) and Pennel (aye).
Presiding Commissioner Pennel declared a recess.
