Level II Maintenance Technician
SUMMARY

Provides preventative maintenance of mechanical and building structures. Duties include,
but are not limited to preventative maintenance and project based work. Project a friendly
and professional image through maintaining a good working relationship with all
departments, as well as their personnel.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Performs routine inspections and preventative maintenance of facilities and
equipment.
2. Diagnosis and troubleshoots mechanical problems.
3. Installs equipment and material as needed.
4. Repairs electrical, plumbing, heating and air conditioning units.
5. Prepares all equipment for seasonal change over.
6. Repairs all doors, windows, lights, switches, office furniture and plumbing, as
needed.
7. Other duties as assigned.
8. Maintains a good working relationship with all departments.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

1. Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired
through a high school diploma or equivalent.
2. Carpentry skills are encouraged.
3. Basic electrical and plumbing experience is required.
4. Knowledge of ADA requirements.
5. Proficient in all aspects of material, methods and techniques commonly used in
construction, maintenance, and repair activities as related to assigned areas of
specialization.
STATUS

1. Salary will be negotiated at $10 - $15 / per hour. (DOQ)
2. Hours worked will be 8am – 5pm.
3. No holidays or weekends required.
