OFFICIAL MINUTES

May 22, 2009 25th DAY OF
THE APRIL ADJOURN TERM

The County Commission met in the Commissioners Conference Room at 9:00 am with
Chuck Pennel, Danny Strahan, and Jim Strafuss present. Also present was Donna Neeley
County Clerk, Frank Preston and Randy Haes with Road and Bridge, and Mark Case, Jon
Hiser and Tracy Fancher with the US Army Corp of Engineers. The following
proceedings were had and made a matter of record:

The Commission discussed issues concerning approximately 19 different roads in Taney
County on Bull Shoals Lake. The Commission along with the US Army Corp of
Engineers will tour several roads in Taney County before any final decisions will be
made.

ADMINISTRATIVE

US Bank procurement card

Jim Strafuss motioned to send a letter to US Bank requesting that the administrators for
Taney County be changed. Chuck Pennel seconded the motion. Motion passed by vote:
Pennel (aye), Strafuss (aye), and Strahan (aye).

Jim Strafuss informed the commission that there is a need for some spot treatment for
termites at a cost of $300.00.

Commission agreed to send Linda Gifford to Boone County for training on purchasing.
Commission also agreed to make some changes in the phone system for Linda Gifford at
a cost of $68.00.

Jim Strafuss motioned to approve writing a letter of support for Mr. Ramsel with Valley
Ridge affordable housing on Bird Road. Chuck Pennel seconded the motion. Motion
passed by vote: Pennel (aye), Strafuss (aye), and Strahan (aye).
