COUNTY CLERK’S CONFERENCE ROOM
Commissioners present via telephone conference Chuck Pennel and Jim Strafuss.
Commissioner Strahan was absent.
BID AWARD – CARPET FOR COMMISSION OFFICE
Commissioner Strafuss moved to award the bid to Combs. Commissioner Pennel
seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote Strafuss (aye), Pennel (aye), and
Strahan (Absent).
Presiding Commissioner Pennel declared a Recess

Commissioners present were: Chuck Pennel, Danny Strahan, and Jim Strafuss.
The meeting was held at the Empire Park
OZARK BEACH SEWER PROJECT
Commissioner Chuck Pennel opened the meeting with prayer.
The commission attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the Ozark Beach Sewer
Project, which will take over 300 homes and businesses off of septic systems.
DAM SITE SEWER PROJECT
John Soutee, representing the Sewer Board, informed the commission that the Board
wanted to come back to the commission again and ask them to approve the entire Dam
Site project at the cost of $650,000.
Chuck Pennel made a motion to take the Sewer Boards recommendation and to do the
$650,000 full project as presented and recommended that the Sewer Board resist allowing
annexation and for the City of Branson to own, operate, and maintain. Jim Strafuss
seconded the motion. Motion passed by vote: Strafuss (yes), Pennel (yes), Strahan
(opposed).
The Commission recessed to the County Commission Hearing Room at 2:30pm
FIBER OPTICS CONTRACT / TRI-LAKES-NET
Commissioner Pennel called the meeting to order and announced that the meeting was
called as an emergency as a contract for fiber optics needed to be signed immediately.
Commissioner Pennel motioned to approve the contract with Tri Lakes Net for fiber
optics. Commissioner Strahan seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote: Pennel
(aye), Strahan (aye) and Strafuss (aye).
Presiding Commissioner Pennel declared a recess.
