OFFICIAL MINUTES

FEBRUARY 3, 2009, 17TH DAY OF
THE JANUARY ADJOURN TERM

9:00 AM – Commissioner’s Conference room.

Commissioners Present: Jim Strafuss, Danny Strahan, and Chuck Pennel

ELECTION MACHINE MEMORY CARDS

County Clerk, Donna Neeley presented the information from the voting machine vendor
about the discontinuance of the memory cards for the optical scan machine and a final
special price for a final order of the cards.

Commissioner Strahan moved that the County buy 6 cards at $125 each at a savings of
$150 each (Full price is $275) a total savings of $900.

Motion died for lack of second after discussion about costs that are passed on to the
political sub divisions from the election.

The Commissioners agreed that if the cards were not received before the election, the
county clerk would come back to the Commission for budget consideration.

IMPENDING MOVE

The Commission discussed potentially moving to the courthouse earlier then planned due
to the propane smell in the present office.

Commissioner Strafuss moved to approve the following payroll warrants:

Commissioner Pennel seconded the motion. The motion passed by vote Commissioner
Strafuss (aye), Commissioner Pennel (aye), and Commissioner Strahan (aye).
