If you are a new resident as of January 1st and have not received an assessment form from the Taney County Assessor's office in order to receive a personal property tax statement from the collector in the fall you need to call the assessor's office (417-546-7240) and request an assessment form to list the vehicles that you own on January 1st. You must do this in the spring of that year.
